The reconditioning process involves the following steps:  

• LOPX centrifuge is fully disassembled.
• Internal parts of the disc bowl are re-coated.
• Then the balancing of disc bowl is checked.
• New shafts, gears and motors are placed in place of old ones.
• The centrifuge is reassembled.
• Then it is run on test bench.
